Nostalgic Wildflowers

I used Lux Archival sanded paper. I did a mix of Sennelier, Girault and Earthberry. I did a water color underpainting, a mixture of greens and terre verte Windsor and Newton to where the sun touches the grass and wildflowers. I wanted to capture a memory from road tripping down the I-17 heading north. Little random sheds surrounded by blooming wildflowers. Creates a happy scene in my mind as we wait to our arrival. It brings mystery and nostalgia, running around barefoot and picking flowers in our woven baskets. No wind, just the warmth of the sun and blue sky.
