Cast A Giant Shadow

A seemingly insignificant and unseen twig cast a slender shadow on the sunny rock. That shadow opens a dimension of mystery, knowledge and the significance of things unseen, like the wild berries growing almost unnoticed in the bramble of green. I let the buttercup yellow paper contribute a sunny glow to this small, multilayered pastel painting, another thing unseen.
