I enjoy using soft pastel on Pastelmat. I aim to capture the subtle lights, reflections and hidden hues on my subjects. I was instantly attratced to this scene when I met the shy but playful young fiddler at the pub. Pastel allows me to capture thia moment quickly with bold and pure colors.
